Beaches on the Costa Blanca South

Does the Costa Blanca South have sun all year round? The answer is YES (to be honest it rains some days ;-)

According to statistics, the year has 365 days and we have 320 days of sunshine, making the Costa Blanca an ideal area to live. Thermometers soar in summer, reaching 40 degrees the hottest days, and winters are very mild with temperatures above 10 degrees

The beautiful Costa Blanca has more than 244 km of beaches, coves and cliffs which constitute this part of the Mediterranean coast.

Fantastic weatherMediterranean food, great beaches, tradition, fun, street markets. These are just some reasons why the Costa Blanca has become what it is today. And because of that, many people have decided to come here, only for a holiday or to enjoy all year of a new way of life.

Take a look at the following statistics, they are quite revealing:

  • The average annual temperature is 19,3ºC
  • Over 2800 hours of sunshine annually
  • It does not rain more than 20 days per year

I guess you understand now why people from across Europe choose the Costa Blanca to buy a property . Good weather throughout the year has a lot to do, becoming one of the decisive factors of purchase.

The best beaches on the Costa Blanca

Of course, good weather should be accompanied by places to have fun, for example, beaches. Here, on the Costa Blanca area, you will find fantastic beaches:

  • Guardamar
  • Torrevieja
  • Orihuela Costa
  • Cabo Roig

  • San Pedro Del Pinatar

They are just some examples of the great beaches on this area.

Despite its name, Costa Blanca (White Coast), the predominant colour here is blue. We are speaking about the colour of the flags on these gorgeous beaches. Here are some of our favourites:

el moncayo beach, guardamar
