Located next to the mouth of the Segura River, on the South Costa Blanca, this quiet Spanish town has an extensive coastline where beautiful and varied golden sand beaches intertwine. The Segura River waters & nbsp; the extensive orchards in the area, where citrus fruits, melons and their typical ñoras are grown , a type of dried pepper used as a condiment in the exquisite Mediterranean cuisine. Do not forget to visit the & nbsp; traveling market & nbsp; that is installed weekly in the town. You can buy freshly harvested fruits and vegetables from nearby fields, as well as other local products, clothing and footwear, household items, etc. You will love to observe the great variety of aquatic birds that inhabit the mouth of the Segura River: stilts, pile drivers, gray herons, egrets, seagulls, ... Put on comfortable clothes to travel the two kilometers that separates the urban center from the mouth from the river.
